The company began in the "Roaring 20s" - 1926 to be exact. Henry Duininck and his brothers Amos and Wilbur partnered to build farm to market roads. From the prairie soils they used horses that towed a grading elevator and built the road from whatever materials the immediate area provided. He work was very labor intensive and the crew lived ate and slept on the projects.
