Asphalt Production The Asphalt Production Division produces, transports and constructs high quality bituminous surfacing for Federal, State, County, Municipal and Township Agencies. We also do a large amount of work for the private sector – developers, industries, businesses, schools and residences. (See Residential and Commercial Construction)
DBI operates four portable hot mix asphalt plants that operate throughout the Midwest. We also have state-of-the-art paving and compaction equipment that assist us in building excellence into every project we construct. Producing a high quality hot mix surface begins with choosing the proper design and selecting the proper materials to construct the job. DBI has the industry’s best and most highly-experienced employees that are capable of producing and laying a high quality bituminous surface. Building a high quality project requires a combining technical knowledge with art. That is why experience is so important and is also the reason DBI places heavy emphasis on retaining a highly trained workforce. A high quality bituminous surface is only as good as the base upon which it is built. Our grading and base crews play a very important role in the process of building a high quality bituminous surface. Having the proper equipment, experienced operators, laborers and supervisors are key ingredients for the construction of a high quality project. |
